Our History

Mobile Home Stuff Store has a proud and successful history of providing essential products and services to the manufactured housing industry. Although there have been changes in the business over the years, we have remained committed to our goal of being a service and installation leader and providing high-quality products to our customers.

MHSS was established by Tony Widowski in the late 1980s in Southeastern Wisconsin. By 1990, the business was incorporated and located in Fond du Lac. Over the next 30+ years, MHSS expanded throughout the Upper Midwest to become the premier supplier of manufactured housing products for homeowners, dealers, park owners, and contractors. What started as a small, two-person operation quickly grew to an organization with more than 40 employees providing sales and installation of goods and services in the manufactured housing industry through four satellite locations in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

In 2019, Tony sold the business to Style Crest Enterprises out of Fremont, Ohio. As part of the Style Crest organization, MHSS has expanded its delivery area throughout Minnesota and the Eastern Dakotas. We look forward to continuing to grow our business in the future and building upon the legacy created by Tony and the numerous employees of MHSS — past and present!
